Per Utah Code ยง78B-4-201, farm animal professionals are NOT liable for inherent
risks of equine activities.
13. Entry Fees & Event Payments
Unless otherwise stated:
Buyer is responsible for all futurity, derby, and eligibility fees
Buyer must notify associations of ownership change
14. Indemnification & Hold Harmless
By participation, all parties agree to:
FULLY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Old West and all affiliates for ANY
injury, death, property loss, or legal claim
WHETHER arising from:
Negligence
Comparative fault
Strict liability
Equipment use
Horse behavior

By participating in any Old West event, sale, or platform, all Buyers, Sellers, and
Participants grant Old West the perpetual right to capture & use:
