Founded in 2004, 3 String Cattle Co. is a premier performance horse and cattle
operation based in Wallsburg, Utah, with an additional ranch in Poolville, Texas.
Owned by Redgie and Robyn Probst, the program is built on faith, family, and a deep
respect for the Western way of life.
Over the past two decades, the program has grown into a respected breeding and
training operation focused on producing elite performance horses and quality
cattle. Under the leadership of Redgie and Robyn, and alongside their children—
Quincy, Quealy, Paisley, and Parley—every part of the operation remains hands-on,
ensuring that every horse carrying the 3 String brand reflects the program’s
commitment to quality, integrity, and hard work.
With training facilities in both Utah and Texas, the mission is simple: raise and
develop horses that are athletic, intelligent, sound, and built to perform—whether in
futurity competition, rodeo arenas, or on the ranch.
Redgie Probst is also a founding visionary behind the Old West Rope Horse Futurity,
driven by a belief that the rope horse industry deserved a bigger stage. His vision for
Old West is to create a platform that celebrates great horses, rewards breeders and
trainers, and creates opportunity for the next generation while continuing to elevate
the entire performance horse industry.
From the ranch to arenas across the country, 3 String Cattle Co. is dedicated to
raising great horses, producing quality cattle, and building a legacy for the next
generation.
